For many people, sickness and disease seem to linger for far longer than it should. What do we do in a case like this? We must seek the Lord and listen for His direction regarding our individual situation. This is why it is critical that we learn how to be led by the Holy Spirit.

The devil doesn’t want people to receive divine healing, because it releases them from his grip on their lives. He tries every strategy to keep people from knowing that healing belongs to them, or to keep those who do know about healing from receiving it. I was in the first category, being raised in a denominational church that never taught divine healing. I didn’t ever hear of anybody being healed...

I have observed that two things people strive for above anything else are life and health. Man continues the age-old search to find man-made remedies for sickness and disease. Billions of dollars are spent each year and thousands of lives are dedicated to find cures for various diseases that destroy the quality of people’s lives. But God already gave us the remedy for every sickness and disease when He sent His Son, Jesus, into this world.
