Most people who are sick want one thing: to get well. But many don’t realize that God also wants them to get well. He wants your healing as much as you want it! Emphatically! Not “maybe.” Not “sometimes.” Not “if it’s His mysterious will.” God has already made His will absolutely clear. How? Through the beatings that Jesus took as our substitute. "…by whose stripes you were healed." - 1 Peter 2:24-25 NKJV

Many people think that they are lying if they say they are healed when their body says they’re not. That is not lying! Repeating what God has said is speaking the truth. God cannot lie. Real faith declares this: if God says it is so, then it is so! Faith simply agrees with God—and speaks that agreement. Since He says, “…by whose stripes you were healed,” then agree that you are healed!

The Lord really loves you, and as a good father would, He wants you to live peaceful and healed. If we don’t have a proper understanding of the nature and character of our God, we will often fail to receive what He has given us. And so I want you to see just how much the Lord cares for you, and that His mercy for healing never fails.
